Welcome to Fresno Buddhist Temple

The Fresno Betsuin Buddhist Temple is pleading with you to open your hearts and wallets to help a Dharma friend in need.

On November 30, 2015, we received a call from the Fresno Police Dept. Chaplain, explaining that one of our members needed our assistance. Mary & Neil Fanning’s mobile home had been completely destroyed by fire and as a result of injuries sustained in the fire, Neil lost his life. Mary and their 3 adult children (ages 26, 29, and 31) made it out safely but with nothing except for the clothes on their backs. They are currently residing in a Fresno hotel and Red Cross has assisted them with funds to purchase bare necessities but they will need our help for the long road ahead. More information

We have also set up a YouCaring fundraising account for the Fannings.
